Read the policyNitoru stores your workspace locally in an encrypted database on your Windows device. Local-only use is the default. An enabled 0.2 beta can optionally synchronize encrypted Journal history through your own Google Drive account; other workspace areas remain local.
A second Windows installation can join existing encrypted Journal history only after approval from an existing trusted device, then connecting the same Google account. A recovery kit restores local Vault key material but cannot authenticate existing Drive history by itself in this beta. Local database snapshots are device-bound and are not portable backups.
Yes. Core workspace features remain local. Internet access is used only for features you choose or Windows services, including optional weather, encrypted Google Drive Journal sync, release information, and Microsoft Store installation or updates.
Include your Nitoru version, Windows version, what you expected, and what happened. Please do not send journal entries, financial details, passwords, or your database unless we explicitly agree on a safe diagnostic step.
